Q: Does that enclosure also work with regular
USB 1.1 port?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible with regular USB ports also. But to enjoy
the high speed, you need USB 2.0 port.?
Q: Does this enclosure need any power
supply?
A: In most cases, no. However, if you use some mini USB hubs that can't
supply enough bus power, you can use the double USB cable to get more
power

A: You can use any 2.5" 9.5mm laptop hard drive. All current
models of laptop drives work. Some very old 17mm and 12mm drives don't work.
